Our calculator uses the live Dubai Gold Market rate sourced twice daily from Leading Dubai Gold Dealers — the same sources used by Khaleej Times and Gulf News.
- Select your karat — 22K for jewelry, 24K for investment bars (VAT-free), 18K for daily-wear pieces.
- Choose weight unit — grams, tola (11.66g), troy ounce (31.1g) or kilogram.
- Enter weight — how many units you want to buy or calculate.
- Add making charge (optional) — the jeweler's craftwork fee. AED 2–15/g at Dubai Gold Souk.
- Toggle VAT — 5% for jewelry. Leave off for 24K bars/coins (VAT-exempt).
